Te Aroha NZ - Cruise In 2017: Classic Restos Series 35
400 classic cars descend on Te Aroha NZ, just out of Auckland for the 2017 Cruise-In. Fletch talks with proud owners about their cars and their origin, first up is Anja with a 1955 F100 Truck in original condition except for what's under the bonnet. The exterior patina belies the power plant beneath. Then Jim with one of his 12 classics, a 1934 Ford 5 Window Coupe, formerly a stock car that he has rebuilt over five years. Selwyn proudly reflects on a 10-year full body restoration by himself and his son of a very rare 1954 VW Split Window Kombi Barndoor, that won the VW Nationals in Auckland this year, a beautiful restoration. Last but by no means least is Alex's beautiful 1959 Chevrolet Impala 2 door with a caravan in tow with a matching colour scheme. This is a very impressive event in a beautiful part of NZ, one to keep in mind for next year.
