Top gear:Land Rover Freelander 1

Top Gear's review of the Land Rover Freelander 1 I have never had any problems with my Freelander in the 3 years that I have owned it. Great little machine with solid performance and rugged good looks. Yes, mine is the diesel version so it has the BMW td4 under the bonnet. Unfortunately, the petrol versions are fitted with the Rover K series petrol engines that apparently are poor on head  gasket reliability. I have never heard of anyone having a problem with the diesel engine, is economical (7l/100km). So far I have not found any country that I could not traverse. People who say Freelanders are unreliable either bought a petrol version or drive like an idiot.
