Mustang junk - ditching the metal cut from my 66 Coupe
A restoration gone wild. What initially started out as a transmission rebuild soon grew to an engine overhaul then, with the drive-train out, I decided to address a few spots of rust. Purchased sight unseen, the car had all the outward appearances of being in tip-top condition but she secretly harboured a very bent, buckled and rusty body shell that had me shedding a large assortment of body panels - here's some of those panels. Both doors, the bonnet and boot are also being changed out. The thumbnail photograph was taken before I decided to freshen up the paint-work and cut the rust out.
