Motor start up after decades in a paddock.......

By Rusty54 - Published on 02 April 2014

This was taken January 2010 just after bringing the ute home. It looked terrible, but Dad saw something in it and ripped into getting the motor started and cleaned the car out. There was about 10cm. of road base gravel in the back still. I got a call to say he and a mate got the motor started and wanted me to video running the motor properly. It sounds so loud because the front crossover pipe was not attached, so it's straight out of the manifolds.

I'd have it! Amazing there doesn't appear to be a whole lot of real bad rust. Good thick steel. My old man reckoned my 1938 Dodge was made of 27 gauge steel. Tough as old boots these cars! Am extremely envious - and good luck to you guys!
