A chance ride on a 1938 Indian Chief sent Matt Willis on a journey to track down a ’38 of his own. He then set about rebuilding and restoring it with his equally passionate Indian-loving neighbour Mic. Their fastidious attention to detail saw the bike win the Concours d’Elegance at Motorclassica. But you won’t find this concours Indian tucked away in a garage. The duo instead preferring to ride and not hide their bikes, wearing any road scars with pride.
