Fletch's 1967 Chrysler New Yorker Barn Find: Classic Restos - Series 41

By Shannons - Published on 07 August 2019

In this week's episode, Fletch recalls the time he found his first barn find, a 1967 Chrysler New Yorker.

There have been many excursions to the USA for Fletch, but in 2016 it was the right time, and he was in the right place. He extracted from Murray Park a renown Mopar collector in Ohio,  a Chrysler New Yorker in 100% original condition from the bowels of one of the many sheds full of Mopars.  Fletch recounts the experience and excitement at the time and describes his emotions.

Then it's six months down the track before it arrives in Australia and the excitement is reignited. Fletch then begins not a restoration because he wants to maintain the New Yorker in its original condition but a mechanical fix to make it safe and in running order.

A great story and some mechanical tips too.
