Cars and Coffee - Berrima, NSW: Classic Restos - Series 52
Like-minded car and bike enthusiasts have been gathering for Cars & Coffee events for some time now. It's a simple concept where people can come and go as they please on a Sunday morning while enjoying a cup of coffee and engaging in conversations about cars and bikes. It's a great way to spend a Sunday morning and have time for other weekend activities.
Fletch reminisces about a previous Cars & Coffee event in Mudgee NSW before joining the Berrima Cars & Coffee crew. The event takes place at Schmokin Café, where friendly staff serve coffee, and attendees showcase their vehicles.
For instance, Frank showcases his 1976 VK Charger K13, a former highway patrol vehicle and track car. Peter brings his highly desirable 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350 SLC, fully optioned and in original condition. Fletch has a soft spot for this model and recalls his short-term ownership of a 70s Mercedes-Benz 380 SLC. Dave showcases his 1972 Ford XY Ute, a 12-year restoration project inspired by the Ford GT, which he upgraded with a 351 5.8-litre Cleveland engine and GT bucket seats.
If you're looking for a coffee and a chat on a Sunday morning, consider attending a Cars & Coffee event near you.
Fletch also discusses his "Tyre Dilemma," where he shares his research on finding new 14" tyres for his 1967 New Yorker.
