Car Megamart Wheels & Deals Car Show & Swap Meet: Classic Restos Series 35

Fletch travels to Pakenham in Victoria for a Car Show & Family Fun Day put on by Car Megamart. There's something for everyone, both buyers and sellers at the swap meet where the saying 'one man's trash is another man's treasure' rings true. Plus there are plenty of eye catching vehicles, like Mandy's 1955 Porsche 356 Replica, having always admired the real thing, but like many of us not able to afford the $300,000+ price tag, Mandy did the next best thing and purchased a 356 replica based on the VW Beetle chassis and engine. Then there's Ricks 1953 Ford Customline that his has owned for 21 years, not quite original when acquired but brought back to original or as it was as he called it. Next up is Scott's passion a 1954 Custom FJ Holden, and there's hardly a panel that hasn't been touched by Scott in this six-year build. Finally a 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 R/T (RHD), purchased from an owner at  Chryslers at Carlise during a visit to the US, an event that Fletch knows only too well having visited frequently. The Megamart Car Show and Family Fun Day was a new event for Classic Restos but one well worth a return visit next time around.
