9th Isabella & Marcus Foundation Classic Vehicle Day: Classic Restos - Series 40

Fletch has been an ambassador for the Isabela & Marcus Foundation that raises money to fight Brain Stem Tumors in children under 12 years of age. There is no cure, but the money raised aids research into the disease and helps prolong the lives of those who have this terrible condition.
Car and bike enthusiasts rally for such a good cause and come out in vast numbers with more than 500 cars and bikes out today.
Fletch gets out amongst the patrons, finds some unique cars and bikes and chats with their owners to get the inside story.
First up is Cameron with his 1968 VE Valiant Safari Wagon, a painstaking 2-year rebuild and finished off in an original paint colour.
Then bike enthusiast Nobby with his beloved Honda 400 Four, a regular at this event and was one of the first bikes to attend the first show. He now leads the charge with many fellow bike lovers supporting the cause.
Including motorcycle collector and rider Jeff with just one of his 16 bikes. A 1973 Kawasaki 750 H2 from the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. This bike he claims equates to a GT-HO in terms of raw power.
Then there is Rowland with a 1968 Torino original Pace Car that is currently for sale. After a complete ground-up restoration undertaken in Queensland, this one won't be on the market for long.
There Al with his beautifully presented 1966 Holden HR X2 Premier with 48,000 miles and in original condition and finally Bernie with his Hot Rod, a tribute to the art form of building Steel body cars. A skill that requires all the old trades to restore and build.
The Isabella & Marcus Foundation is a great charity and worthy of everyone's support.
