1960 Holden FB

History

I was told about this FB Panel Van sitting in a farmers paddock in 2015 in the Mid North of SA (see pics).
It had been sitting there since 1972 and was cream in colour, under that cream was a red colour.
It had no crossmember or engine and was a little out of shape in the front end.
After viewing ID plate, Holden expert Don L verified it was a PMG (post master general) vehicle.

Keeping to the PMG/Mail van theme it was back to Post Office Red colour, Black wheels and Beech Brown Trim. Standard 138 Grey Motor is fitted, Floors and sill panels replaced, Fuel Tank had PMG marked on it with anti syphon coil and chain for fuel cap.
