History
Montesa is a Spanish off-road motorcycle from the 1970s. Before the Japanese took over, Spanish makes such as Montesa, Bultaco & Ossa 'Ruled the Roost'. This 250cc Enduro model had Australian ADR compliance for full road registration, with a 6 speed gearbox. This bike has been fully restored to original condition using NOS parts. The fuel tank is fibreglass, with lights & horn, speedometer, gas rear shocks & tool kit. The Victorian importer was Lyell O'Brien Motorcycles of Geelong. These bikes are well sort after by motorcycle collectors, and top condition original examples are becoming rare and valuable. "VIVA Montesa!"
Modifications
The original long range fuel tank has also been included in the restoration.
