One dashboard layout that I recall for its performance focus was that of the mid-70's Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT and GTV 2000 ... the driver's focus was intended to be placed squarely upon the tachometer, but unfortunately not for drivers of our local market right hand drive cars !!
