Don't know what a Twin Cam Alfa on Webbers could do Steve but I do remember my 1200cc Toyota Corolla ran a low 17 during the third qualifying session at the first ever 'Street Meet' held at A.I.R. in '72. Then, having first run an 'easy' 19s followed by a mid 18s and finally a low 17s I found myself placed in the 18s bracket which I took out knocking off a 2600S Torana in the final. *Who said there's no substitute for cubic inches. (ha ha)
