John192 & BentleyT ~ for some reason I didn't realise Singer had so many model variations. . Like I mentioned some time ago, my Dad bought one about 1959 with the purpose of being a learner car for my mother, but dear Mum never got the hang of driving. My Bro and I loved our Singer roadster (nick-Named "the Flea") because it was like a poor-man's Sports car to us kids. Simplicity in running gear was such a good thing in those days. . The Ghia Aigle variations are amazing ! . The Singer below is similar to the one my family had.
