Tony_F, we will need to wait until the Plaid is revealed before the racing range can be estimated. An EVs ability around a track will not just depend on consumption/range but also heat management. All things being equal, the race range will be about a quarter of the normal range. I think that short and sharp racing could be exciting. Tesla Gigafactory 5 in Austin Texas should be complete and running in around a year. Apart from passenger cars it will produce the Semi and Cybertruck. Mark and PonyRider, the Plaid statistics are next level and difficult to reconcile. Probably even more so is that an unladen Semi can reach 100kmh in around 5 seconds.
