Hey there Joe ... never sold in Australia, those Fiat Dino cars are an interesting mix of shared engines with the Dino 246 GT, itself a beautiful Italian car, but is it a Ferrari or is it not ? ... most would these days say it is one of the classic Ferraris of its time ... and, I believe that the Fiat Dino 2.4 Spider and the Dino 246 GT and GTS were all manufactured on the same production line at Ferrari's Maranello plant. Those later model Fiat Dino cars employed an independent rear suspension system derived from the Fiat 130 Coupe, itself a pretty impressive piece of styling from Pininfarina that debuted in 1971. But, if we're exploring the less exotic of Italian sporting cars, here's two that I remember fondly and which I've had the opportunity to drive ... the original AC-series Fiat 124 Sport from the late 1960s and the final iteration of the Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT series, the 1980's Alfa Romeo GTV 6 ...
