Whenever people talk about Hillman Imps the first car that springs to mind is Harry LeFoe's sports sedan that raced in the 1970s. Powered by a mid-mounted small block 289/302 Ford V8. Sort of an early version of Frank Gardner's Corvair but with a much shorter wheelbase and very twitchy handling. I will do an in-depth story on this amazing car for Shannons Club some day. Love it!
