Thanks PonyRider. The Fastback is a C code but came with the wrong grill ('65) so I upgraded to the GT grill with the fog lights as it looks right. It runs a C6 auto but soon to be upgraded to a T5 box. I miss shifting cogs. The VF was the best option as Ford had finished its Falcon run and I wanted a wagon. I am not disappointed with it as it is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Very well mannered around town but if you poke it, the bi-nodal exhaust opens up and the beast is released. It take a minute to put it back in the box with all the crackle and pop. Almost thinks it says "are you sure you want to do this? OK hang on " A lot of fun. The only other car that that gave me goose bumps with the sheer pulling power was a BMW 850 V12 6 speed manual. Arr that's another story about the one that slip thru my hands. The 840 is a 4.8Lt V8 which I still make enquiries about now and again.
