Swan-song for one of the troooly gigantic cross-country cruisers; the 1978 Mercury Marquis Station Wagon with the Colony Park Option. There's a fair chance everyone in this pic including at leat three big dogs all arrived in comfort and of course style. As DB has pointed out, it was the end of an era, and we will ever see the likes of it again.
