Nice one, Mark. Another opportunity missed with this one. I first saw one at the 1970 London Motor Show, so it was nearly 5 years until it was released here. The French dropping bombs in the Pacific didn't help, but the car never set the Europeans or the British on fire at all. Initially coming out with a 1600 and 1800 4 cylinder, it was raised to 2 Litres by 1972. A GT model with the 1800 engine was called the 160GT, quite why is lost in time 50 years ago..... It was even marketed as a Simca in some countries. Basically designed in the UK, it could have become a Humber, but no doubt the American marketers knew better.
