Speaking of BMW, this one was apparently a "flop' but I think it is a fine looking Sports car ! Quote "CarBuzz" Things Were So Bad That BMW Almost Disappeared Completely Immediately following the 507's axing in 1959, BMW was in terrible financial shape. The sheer cost of design, development, and production of the 507 followed by the subsequent sales failure resulted in BMW losing roughly 15 million Deutschmarks, or almost $39 million in today's dollars. Ironically, BMW was considering selling to Mercedes-Benz, whose 300SL roadster was one of the main reasons for BMW's development of the 507 and its subsequent failure. _____________________________ Looks mighty fine to me !
