Hey all Sorry its been so long in between posts! There has been so much going on with this bike build and plenty of engineering challenges to overcome and I didnt want to turn this thread into a blow by blow build thread. So, after 4+ years, I have finally completed the bike! Yay! I was hoping to have it up and running to take across to the Broadford Bonanza over easter but time beat me in the end. I didnt want to take it just as a display bike and there are still some testing to be done on the electronics before I can fuel it up and light a fire in its bum. For several reasons that dont really matter here, I have ditched The Ecotrons ECU and now using a EFI (Everything Fuel Injection) ecu based on Speeduino (Arduino) architecture. EFI ecu's are designed and built right here in Tasmania! I kept the Ecotrons wiring harness and modified it for the Speedy. There is so much going on with this bike it would take me hours to document it so if anyone is interested in details just ask here. Cheers all.
