Pembo that's a good point I hadn't considered about time frame for F'glass. . I remember reading years ago about panels for a car being stamped out in a heavy duty form of plastic (no fibre or resin) which I perceived as being like the kid's flexible plastic toys or a dense form of plastic like in Leggo or Tupperware. The demo I saw said the panels are easily replaced and you could change the whole colour scheme of your car that way. I haven't been able to find that information and presume it just wasn't feasible. I will keep searching. . It's a shame that the significant weight reduction in a Fibreglass body doesn't compensate for the waiting time to manufacture.
