Happy birthday for yesterday Mark. I started my (5 year) apprenticeship in 1963 - following a one year full time pre-engineering course. On my wage I was only marginally better off in my pocket (after paying keep) than when I did a local paper round before school so did not own a car. However, I did purchase a 1963 Ford Anglia 105E 5 years later so between one thing and another, 1963 has left its mark on my memory over time. *I also saw 'Freddy & The Dreamers' locally that year.(ha ha)
