Christine Cole (aka Gibson) and Sandra Bennett teamed up in an HDT-entered LC Torana GTR XU-1 for the 1970 Bathurst 500 (below). They had a reliable run to finish eighth in Class C and 13th outright. Christine Gibson had numerous Bathurst drives, including the infamous 1981 race when a collision with Bob Morris triggered a multi-car pile-up at Skyline that for the first time ended the race early under a red flag.
