This is getting a bit ugly. The instructions with the energy bushing kit say to melt the outside of the rubber bush before you try to press it out. I grabbed a Gasmate bottle from bunnings and it did work but I had to get it a lot hotter than I anticipated. I improvised on pushing the bush out as I don't have a shop press. That is a ball joint press with a suitable adaptor on the bottom and a close fitting socket on the top. I used a rattle gun to get the ball joint press going and out the stinky rubber innards came. This is going to take a while. Thankfully the replacements don't have to be pressed in.
