Hasbeen and Passion8, interesting to note mentions of TR-7 and TR-8, Hasbeen is obviously enjoying the incredible power-to-weight in the TR-8, with the Rover 3.5 litre V8 Engine. I wonder if Passion8 has driven the 8 cylinder version of the little Triumph, it would be such a contrast in performance to his TR-7 (which is still a great handling car) My Bro had the TR-8, and it blew me away how quick it would accelerate from any speed. Unfortunately there are rare opportunities to do a quick squirt in any car these days, due to fear of Speed Cameras or a pursuit car, However I do find that any Entry Lane to join the Bruce highway allows me to sink the boot to the loud pedal from stationary at traffic lights to a tad over the limit to synchronize speed with the freeway traffic doing 100 kmh . Works for me !
