The glorious pics come from the first edition of the Annual Automobile Review in 1953-54. They are of the 1953 24 Hours at Le Mans and show the start where the drivers ran to the cars on the starting line. Plenty of great shots of Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton in their winning C-Type Jaguar, the Austin Healey of Gordon Wilkins which finished in 14th place, Ferraris and more Jaguars, a Cunningham and Porsches. The last three are of the winning C-Type at the finish and with the two drivers and their mechanics.
