For a long time I wasn't a huge fan of the original Lamborghini but more recently I have begun to appreciate how pivotal the small volume 350GT was in establishing the Italian marque as a serious player in the 'supercar' world. As Silvercloud highlights, Ferruccio gained immediate credibility by developing his own V12 and the 350GT's distinctive styling has started to grow on me, no doubt helped along by YouTube channels like Tyrrell's Classic Workshop which has done numerous restorations of the early models.
