So many global automotive icons were created in the 1950s including the Citroen DS, BMC Mini, Ford Thunderbird, Corvette C1, Jaguar D-Type and Ferrari 250 GT to name a few. My favourite 1950s car, though, is the 300SL Gullwing. Don't ask me why - it just is!
