G'day Morgul ~ I too love the timeless design of the Lotus Super 7 (and Caterham) If you flick back to page 6 of this Forum you will see I inserted two photos of Super 7's but maybe you can explain to me why such Cumbersome number plates were required in UK ? Was the size mandatory ? Were smaller plates available ? Could you get smaller personalised plates there ? There's nowhere to hang a huge plate on a Lotus without it spoiling the appearance of the grille ! If the law needed plates that big, they shoulda gone to Specsavers ! 😄
