And...success! I used AlfaOBD (an android program) with an Elm 327 bluetooth obd interface and followed the "Program ignition keys SKIM only" routine and now I have two working keys. Bonus: I thought getting the remote door open/close to work had to be done separately with a scary juggling routine that involves erasing all the existing remote open keys and re pairing them one by one. Turns out the buttons on the key worked perfectly after the SKIM routine was done. Very glad I checked that just for giggles. No hour+ trip to the Chrysler dealer for me. Next up is an attempt to re-weld that leaking downpipe which I don't think I will have quite as much luck with. Still waiting for a couple of swaybar bushes to arrive before I try to drop the rear subframe for the bush replacement festival.
