Guilty here of buying a car without checking to see what sort of spare if any, my VF Commodore has. A space-saver which is better than nothing, but only just. Here's a car, made for long distances in this big country with a tyre that can only travel 80kms at no more than 80 kmph... It's been used once, and I got the RACQ to change it, simply because I didn't have the time to work out how to use the jack and juggle a big heavy wet and dirty wheel.
I had to go and check my VF. It has a full size spare. Probably because it is a V8? It still has a 'temporary' warning, I suspect because the tyres are staggered in size. The two BMWs have runflat tyres which I like as my wife has been able to drive home with flat tyres. The Porsche has a compressor and goo. The Tesla has nothing, which hasn't been a problem in suburbia as the first flat only caused a slow pressure drop. The second was a cut sidewall and throw away tyre but the factory roadside assistance changed the wheel for me. If I was crossing the Nullarbor, I would buy a spare wheel and tyre as well as carrying my compressor and plug kit.
