PonyRider the Mini is perfect as a runabout. It is quick to 100kmh but like many EVs it shines even more in the first 60kmh. A while ago I drove a Nissan Leaf, BMW i3 and a Mitsubishi i-MIEV. They were all brisk at low speeds.
