Good choice of dream car, PonyRider. You cannot go wrong with any of the GT3 Porsches. They are all very desirable and definitely dream car material. The 996 pictured and later 997 had the brilliant touch of Hans Mezger in the engine design. He passed in 2020, aged 90. Mezger is one of the few people who are well known for engine design and inexplicably linked to the aura of particularly special cars.
