The 512 with its magnificent 5.0-litre 60-degree V12 was also one of the star cars in Steve McQueen's famous 'Le Mans' movie based on the 1970 24-Hour clash with Porsche's 917. Both cars looked and sounded superb. What an era! Apparently the shot below, which I've not seen before, was taken during filming.
