I have a very good dash pad, that is not in the colour that I want, and which I am reluctant to paint. I also have a dash pad that was in a poor state with cracks and defects. I originally covered it with vinyl but was not happy with the outcome. I have been filling, sanding and making a mess. It is nearly done. Next I will coat it with a primer, attempt to inlay a leather grain pattern, and then spray it the chosen colour, Chestnut.
