PonyRider, the Shark has a 30kWh battery pack. For comparison, my Tesla pack is around 80kWh. Unlike some performance hybrid cars, the system is 'simple' in that it does not have a multi-speed gearbox or front to rear drive shafts. The front and rear electric motor also produce enough torque to do away with low range gearing.
