I also thought the evolution of Falcons racing in the Group C era was fascinating. From the modified GT-HO Phase Threes and XA GT Hardtops that shared the first year in 1973, Falcons evolved through XB GT and XC GS500/Cobra Hardtops, then XD and finally XE Falcon sedans. All were powered by the legendary 351 Cleveland V8 and combined they amassed numerous victories including six Australian Touring Car Championships, four Bathurst 1000s and many other successes. I consider myself fortunate to have witness the whole thing!
