Here are some photos of my Toranas from way back in the day. Apologies for the hatch images as the photos became damaged over the years. The LH was a favourite as it ran a 14.3 quarter with very little work-A torquey V8 and T350 Auto did the trick. The hatch was an over the top labour of love that I sold when I married in '93 for $7K. I spent more on the paint. It had a 400HP solid 308 with roller rockers and the like, Saginaw and a shortened one tonner diff with Detroit locker assembly. That car ran a not particularly neat 12.8. The absurd attention to detail including hidden wiring and immaculate undercarriage took for ever. What was I thinking? The lesson kiddies, is this. Always buy an original model if you can afford it as both my cars were replicas which was a mistake. In those days I just wanted knock out paintwork and big HP. An original L34 or A9X like Monaro23's above would have been cheaper in the long run and much better not to mention very valuable now. Cheers Steve
