Skylark you pretty much confirmed what I heard from a Chev powered XJ-6 owner. He's a happy dude with his conversion, and parts for Chev 350 available at Woolworths (well not quite) and when you lift the bonnet it is not a "plumber's nightmare" like with the XJ-S Jags. Don't get me wrong, I love Jags, but just like the Jensen Interceptor the XJ-6 an English Body with American Grunt. Works well.
