Many Moons ago: I remember one of my early 4-cylinder cars had the return Spring break on the Carby. (mega revs, panic and hasty switch off) Two Rubber bands and a 'scrunchy' from girlfriend's pony tail did suffice till I got to a Spare Parts Shop..... I learned from that, and on my little Red Pony I have fitted TWO springs to the Holley, as shown in my photo below. Could this be a helpful hint AAACV8 ? click on pic to enlarge
