Quite a few rides in now. Feeling more comfortable and while I wouldn’t say the riding reactions have become as automatic as a car it’s definitely heading that way. Had a chance to start dismantling the FJ 1200 to find the fuel leak. Logically laid out and very easy to work on the Yamaha is a quality bike. I have had it running briefly and it sounds good when it does. Removed the gear rack and have a short list of repairs to make including replacing all the fuel lines. The brace of carbs are pretty radical looking to a car guy. The Guzzi has not needed any fettling so far. Just pour petrol in it and light up a grin.
