Thanks gentlemen and a good day and weekend to you. Should turn out good. This panel shop has done all of my panel repairs for the past twenty years and I have been satisfied. Now I better start thinking about ordering sound insulation, carpets etc as well as completing the bench seat work. Talking of seats, a little controversial, but I also have in my procession two Holden Cruze bucket seats. With their separate headrests they suit the car fairly well. They have some key features including the advantage of having a mounting point on the seat frame itself for the seatbelt buckle, are height adjustable and have an anti-submarining design to stop the occupant sliding under the seatbelt in a crash. They are also fairly new and robust without any rust unlike old HQ buckets for sale at exorbitant prices. Coincidentally, the seat rails are perfectly spaced to line up with the holes and captive nuts in the factory HQ floor. I will have to grind off a couple of knobs on the rails and drill a hole in each for a perfect fit. A man I met has them in his Holden One Tonner. I would trim/colour them to suit the HQ. Not original but still Holden and will add to the all important safety aspect. I will still complete the bench while mulling over using these buckets.
