I totally agree with you SilverCloud. I can vividly remember joking with my car-mad high school mates (mid-1970s) about the Landau that a fellow classmate's dad owned, who occasionally collected him from school in it. Dark blue body with a white vinyl roof and matching white interior. With the benefit of hindsight, how dumb were we to mock such magnificent opulence! Sadly, many of the small number that were sold ended up being converted into Falcon GT replicas etc, making any original survivors extremely rare and desirable today. How good would it be to discover an original one, covered in dust and hidden in a shed for decades? I wish!
