Does anyone know an easy way to drain oil from a diff ? On my next Oil change & Service I want to put fresh oil in the diff and googling videos of the different ways to do it on my Stang it looks like a major operation! There's no drain plug, but I didn't want to have to drop tailshafts or pull axles just to get the old oil out. It's not a good idea (apparently) to drill a hole at diff bottom and re-tap a thread for a plug. The only way I can think of is syphoning ? I squirted some Moreys in the filler hole to protect until next service, but the oil has to be replaced. Any advice will be appreciated. MUZ ? I will insert this post in "Non-Specific" as well.
