Fins were in during the mid to late fifties, whether they did anything for stability seems improbable given their subsequent disappearance. Probably predating the Repco Record is Lou Molina's Monza sporting two of the largest fins. They look great if nothing else. The Molina Monza appeared in On the Beach and provided the racing soundtrack. The Monza is shown with Anthony Perkins and Donna Anderson during filming. The Monza was saved from oblivion by the restoration talents of Gavin and Bryan Sala.
