Thank you for a great article. I’ve been a Jaguar fan ever since my father bought a 3.5 litre Mark V saloon in the early 60’s. I learned to drive on this car and like the XK120 it had the ability to idle along in top gear without stalling. The first date I took my future wife on was looking at XK120s for sale. In 1970 I bought a 2.4 litre Mark II. But I always admired the XK series. I was able to drive a friends XK150S roadster this year. A great thrill!
