Some Art Deco for you Mark - the Brisbane GMH Assembly building in Wickham Street, The Valley in the late 1930s and about 20 years ago, just before it was demolished. A friend parked his HA Viva in front of the building in which it was made. It was sold through Motors Pty Limited, at the intersection of Wickham and Ann Streets - within walking distance of the plant. You could just see the Vauxhall and Buick names, but nearly everything had faded away. Interesting that GMH were still promoting the Oakland and Marquette names which had disappeared by the early 1930s
