The Jaguar XJS has for some time been flagged as a future classic, in both the UK and the USA ... certainly the late-1975 build UK market cars with 4-speed manual transmission are a rare find, amounting to less than 400 units, but I'd suggest the post-1991 'facelift' cars might prove a good bet worldwide ... these cars benefit from Ford's ownership influence and many updated driveline aspects, such as improved 4.0 litre six-cylinder engines and an enlarged 6.0 litre V12 with 4-speed automatic transmission ... I'm not so enamoured by the body-coloured moulded bumpers of the post-1993 brigade, but I do believe these coupes and convertibles deserve due consideration ...
